Left-hander Jose Quintana learned on Sunday that he will join Chicago White Sox teammate Chris Sale on the American League roster for the upcoming All-Star Game. Quintana will be making his first appearance in the Midsummer Classic as he was tabbed to replace Cleveland Indians right-hander Danny Salazar. While the move was announced by All-Star manager Ned Yost of the Kansas City Royals, Quintana was alerted when he was presented with an All-Star jersey prior to Sunday's interleague game versus Atlanta.
